This piece was handcrafted by myself in sterling silver and contains a beautiful faceted round Green Tourmaline from Brazil. This exceptional stone displays a deep Bluish Green coloration and exhibits excellent quality, clarity, and cutting. This stone was mined in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais and derives its green coloration from the presence of chromium. The stone measures 6mm in diameter and weighs 0.5 carats. The ring is a size 6.5 and has a tapered sterling band that has been hand hammer finished. The stone is securely bezel set with an open back. I have been making both traditional and wire wrapped jewelry for a retail store in Burlington, Vermont for the past ten years and I travel all over the world to find unique gemstones and fine mineral specimens.
